In January, our classes for 5-8 year olds will meet weekly for two hours (3-5 p.m.) on the afternoon below. We will explore the theme: Good Things Growing!, an introduction to cooking with veggies, fruits, herbs, and other delicious fresh ingredients that we grow to nourish our bodies. By exposing students to these ingredients and flavors in a way that is fun and relaxed, we encourage even the pickiest eaters to try new foods. In each class, students will make one savory and one sweet dish, providing the opportunity to practice both savory cooking and pastry skills.
Class dates: January 12, 18, 26 (note there are only three classes in January)
