Early Childhood Classes: Good Things Growing! (January)

In January, our early childhood classes will meet weekly for one hour on Wednesdays.

In January, we will explore the theme: Good Things Growing!, an introduction to cooking with veggies, fruits, herbs, and other delicious fresh ingredients that we grow to eat. By exposing students to these ingredients and flavors in a way that is fun and relaxed, we encourage even the pickiest eaters to try new foods.

Our early childhood classes feature multi-sensory exploration, learning, and play. These classes introduce our youngest petit pâtissiers to fresh ingredients and new flavors, as well as kitchen hygiene and safety practices. Together with their chef instructor, students will select ingredients from our pantry, exploring them with all our senses. We cook simple recipes that are designed to work on fine motor skills and build confidence in the kitchen, as well as stimulate your child’s curiosity and creativity. At the end of each class, students will enjoy sharing the fruits of their labor with friends and caregivers around the table, practicing socialization skills and watching their grownups model table manners.

One caregiver must be present for each class.

Enrollment for this class is currently closed.
