In February, our early childhood classes will meet weekly for one hour (10-11 a.m.) on Thursday mornings.
We will explore the theme: Use Your Senses!, in which we explore a wide variety of ingredients with all our senses, and cook some delicious dishes. This series focuses on multi-sensory exploration, learning and play, and introduces our youngest petit pâtissiers to fresh ingredients and new flavors, as well as kitchen hygiene and safety practices. Together with their chef instructor, students will select ingredients from our pantry, exploring them with all our senses. We cook simple recipes that are designed to work on fine motor skills and build confidence in the kitchen, as well as stimulate your child’s curiosity and creativity. At the end of each class, students will enjoy sharing the fruits of their labor with friends and caregivers around the table, practicing socialization skills and watching their grownups model table manners.
One caregiver must be present for each class.
