Early Childhood Classes: Let’s Get Creative! (March)

In March, our early childhood classes will meet weekly for one hour (10-11 a.m.) on Thursday mornings.

We will explore the theme: Let’s Get Creative!, in which we encourage little chefs to experiment with fresh ingredients to make their own unique (and tasty!) creations, such as a custom pizza or signature smoothie. This series is designed to nurture these students’ growing sense of independence and creativity, and give them the confidence they need to learn and practice their skills.

Our early childhood classes feature multi-sensory exploration, learning, and play. These classes introduce our youngest petit pâtissiers to fresh ingredients and new flavors, as well as kitchen hygiene and safety practices. Together with their chef instructor, students will select ingredients from our pantry, exploring them with all our senses. We cook simple recipes that are designed to work on fine motor skills and build confidence in the kitchen, as well as stimulate your child’s curiosity and creativity. At the end of each class, students will enjoy sharing the fruits of their labor with friends and caregivers around the table, practicing socialization skills and watching their grownups model table manners.

One caregiver must be present for each class.

Class dates: March 6, 13, 27, April 3 [NOTE last class is in April]
